PERFORMANCE WITH A NEW LOOK – THE AUDI RS4
The first Audi RS 4 creates quite a stir with its 450 hp (331 kW). It beats the first generation by a mile as far as power is concerned. The difference between the current standard model and its counterpart with ABT Power is of a similar size: 510 hp (375 kW) and 660 Nm, as opposed to 600 Nm, will put a smile on the face of even the most power-hungry. The power boost is due to the ABT Engine Control (AEC), a control unit developed by our engineers. This constantly monitors 25 different parameters, and in conjunction with direct communication between AEC and the engine control unit, ensures optimum power utilisation whilst simultaneously providing maximum protection for the engine.
ABT Power S provides the RS 4 with a performance boost of up to 530 hp (390 kW) and 680 Nm. For this, the ABT watercooler kit and ABT air intake pipe are used in addition to the high-tech control unit AEC.
